MERCURY VAPOR BADGE, 10/BX

Use our 593 Mercury Vapor Monitor to easily measure personal exposure levels to this metal. Mercury vapor is collected by a thin, ultra high-purity layer of gold. The gold is digested overnight with a mixture of concentrated acids. Then, an analysis of elemental mercury is performed by cold vapor atomic fluorescence (CVAF). This badge is NON-RETURNABLE Each badge comes with a particle screen to prevent particles containing mercury from entering the sampler during monitoring, potentially causing a high biased result. The screen must be removed immediately after the monitoring is complete. This is best done using a pair of tweezers. In addition, we recommend the cap be twisted off during sampling and stored away from dusts. This badge collects the following: Mercury vapor Before sampling, ship and store at room temperature.
